21. Are these buildings designed to meet LEED standards?

Yes. All of our building designs exceed the USGBC LEED “Platinum” standards for building and home ratings. Regarding certain controversy surrounding LEED accreditation; LEED is nothing more than a design standard. While several of our projects have been certified, we advise our clients that it is an unnecessarily expense to inspect and certify the project. However, if it is the clients wish to inspect and “certify” the building or home- it is easily to accomplish without changing any portion or element in our construction plans. Most professional architects have already received training in the area of sustainable design. LEED certification, while bringing “bragging rights” with it, will not add any appraisal value to your building or home and is unnecessary for our buildings as we pride ourselves on producing designs which are light years years ahead of LEED standards.
