How Zero Energy Design works.

Research & Development.

Gabriel was born in San Antonio, Texas, where he grew in a close relationship with his father, learning and applying his father’s carpentry and mechanic skills. He grew to learn, understand and appreciate these skills, progressing from performing as mere chores to practicing as a finely honed hobby. Gabriel also worked in construction starting at ground level and advancing to Forman, learning and practicing more about building systems and construction techniques.

Gabriel earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at San Antonio and is a certified Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) in the state of Texas. He has extensive experience in mechanical design and building materials.

Gabriel joined the Universal Design Consortium in 2002 and is a dedicated member of the design team. His contributions in the area of MP&E design have propelled the company’s designs to a new level of efficiency.

Although skilled in HVAC and MP&E design, Gabriel currently works in building materials research and development. He finds particular interest in the energy aspect of mechanical engineering.

Gabriel currently heads UDC research and development.
