In order to ensure quality and because of the unique nature of sustainable architecture and the varies variables faced by architects, engineers and building scientist. It is important to control, regulate and establish high design, engineering and construction standards that can be recognized by the public. Therefore, all Consortium members must abide by the Code of Ethics and Bylaws of the Consortium. Design professionals and producer members are responsible for quality assurance inspections and certification of all projects. Projects must be constructed to specification to qualify for UDC certification. Membership is required for all builders, general contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers constructing sustainable architecture designed and/or engineered by Consortium professional members.

 

No Information collected will be sold, distributed or used in any other purpose. Please allow 1 to 2 weeks for application processing. Membership will be awarded once approved and all yearly membership dues are paid in full.

Producer Member

Are persons, firms, corporations, or partnerships who engage in the manufacture or construction of sustainable architectural projects designed by professional members of Universal Design Consortium and who certifies such projects are in compliance with the Consortium Standards in specifications, construction documents. Producer Members apply a UDC plaque bearing the Producer Members name to each sustainable project to qualify that the project meet Consortium standards.
